    Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport and transfer to Phuentsholing (961 ft.) ‐ The Gateway
    of Bhutan by Road from India. It is a thriving commercial centre on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On
    arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, you may choose to relax at the hotel or walk around the Phuentsholing

  • Day 02: Phuentsholing ‐ Thimphu
    (Distance: 150 Kms. / Driving Time: 5 Hrs. / Altitude of Thimphu: 2,350 Mts.)
    After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of
    Bhutan. On the way, stop at places to view scenery and for Photography. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of

  • Day 03: Thimphu Sightseeing
    (Altitude of Thimphu: 2350 Mts.)
    After breakfast visit the Kuenselphodrang (Buddha Dordenma). Located at a short drive from Thimphu City Centre,
    Kuenselphodrang offers a good overview of the Thimphu valley. The largest statue of Buddha in the country sits
    here which houses over one hundred thousand smaller Buddha statues. Then visit the National Memorial Chorten
    built in the memory of the Third King of Bhutan and visit the Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit Sangaygang
    View Point. The Lookout point offers a stunning panoramic view of the entire Thimphu. On the way back visit the
    Takin Preserve Centre. Takin is the National animal of Bhutan. Then visit the Changangkha Lhakhang. This is a
    popular Buddhist temple and is especially visited by parents to receive blessings for their new‐born. Its interiors
    are full of murals that depict different stories. In the evening, visit the Tashichho Dzong, first built in 1216 A.D. by
    Lama Gyalwa Lhanangpa. The Dzong is the seat of the National Government and the Central Monastic Body,
    including the summer residence of the Je Khenpo (Chief Abbot of Bhutan). Overnight stay at Thimphu.
  • Day 04: Thimphu ‐ Punakha/Wangdue Sightseeing
    (Distance: 78 Kms. / Driving Time: 3 Hrs. / Altitude of Punakha: 1,310 Mts.)
    After breakfast drive to Punakha/Wangdue (4298 ft.), on the way Stop at Dochu‐La‐Pass (10334 ft.) to view the
    higher Himalayas. The pass is approximately 25 kms away from Thimphu and is the highest point between the
    Thimphu and Punakha/Wangdue Valley. Another attraction is the 108 chorten/stupas (Druk Wangyel Chortens)
    built close to each other surrounded by numerous colorful prayer flags. On arrival at Punakha, check in at the
    hotel. Afternoon, visit Punakha Dzong ‐ built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the
    time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen
    Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je‐Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji
    Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952. After that take a short and easy hike to visit the
    Chhimi Lhakhang ‐ The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The
    Devine Mad Man”. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Punakha / Wangdue.
  • Day 05: Excursion to Gangtey / Phobjikha or Punakha Sightseeing
    (Excursion to Gangtey ‐ Distance: 78 kms. One way / Driving Time: 3 hrs.)
    After breakfast, start for full day excursion trip to Gangtey Valley (9,842 ft.). On the way you shall come across
    different flora and fauna, monuments, villages and people. Stop at places for sightseeing and photography. While
    in Gangtey visit the Gangtey Goemba the only Nyingmapa monastery in western Bhutan, which was established in
    the 17th century. Then explore the Phobjikha valley, one of the most beautiful glacial valleys in the Himalayas and
    the winter roosting place for the endangered Black necked Cranes which migrates from the arid plains of Tibet in
    the north. You may choose to hike around the Valley. After visiting the valley drive back to Punakha. Overnight stay
    at Punakha / Wangdue.
    OR
    Alternatively, instead of going to Gangtey / Phobjikha, you also have an option of spending the day in Punakha
    Valley itself. After breakfast hike to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten which is about 45 Mins easy hike to the
    top of the hill. It offers a breath‐taking view of the Punakha Valley. After that visit Punakha Suspension Bridge
    which is one of the longest in Bhutan. Later visit The Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery, a temple plus nunnery
    perched on a ridge overlooking Toebesa village, Punakha and Wangduephodrang valleys. Rest of the day free for
    leisure. Overnight stay at Punakha / Wangdue.
  • Day 06: Punakha/Wangdue ‐ Paro Sightseeing
    (Distance: 125 Kms. / Driving Time: 5 Hrs. / Altitude of Paro: 2,280 Mts.)
    After breakfast drive to Paro (7,483 ft.). On the way stop at Lamperi to visit Royal Botanical Park. This park is a
    treat for nature lovers as the 36 species of exotic rhododendron and approximately 220 types of charming birds
    will make your day unforgettable. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong ‐ National Museum
    with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha, etc. Then visit the Rinpung Dzong ‐ Meaning “fortress
    of the heap of jewels”. The dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. Rest of the evening at
    leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.
  • Day 07: Excursion to Taktshang Monastery
    (Distance: 40 Kms. / Driving Time: 1.5 Hrs.)
    After breakfast, drive to the base of the abode of gods and monks, the Taktshang Monastery. The monastery is a 2
    ‐3 hours hike uphill from here. One feels truly blessed reaching the monastery. The primary Lhakhang was built
    surrounding Guru Rinpoche’s Meditation cave in 1684 which clings to the edge of a sheer Rock cliff that plunges
    900 meters into the valley below. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche flew here on the back of a tigress which gives
    its name “Taktshang” meaning Tiger’s nest. Afternoon (If time permits), visit the Drukgyel Dzong. Built in 1647, the
    dzong was destroyed by accidental fire and left in ruins as an evocative reminder of the great victories it was built
    to commemorate. Explore the ramparts and experience an unforgettable view of Mt. Jhomolhari (7,314 m). On the
    way back, visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Bhutan. Overnight stay at Paro.
  • Day 08: Excursion to Chele‐La‐Pass
    (Distance: 35 Kms. (One way) / Driving Time: 2 Hrs. (One way) / Altitude of Chele‐La‐Pass: 3,988 Mts.)
    After breakfast, drive to Chele‐La‐Pass (13,088 ft.) – the highest motor‐able Passes in Bhutan. It is approximately
    around 2 hrs. drive uphill along a densely‐populated forest road and beautiful natural sights. Stop at places for
    photography and for bird watching (if a bird watcher). The Pass is beautifully marked by hundreds of prayers flags
    and provides stunning views of Mountain Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake. While returning, hike down to Kila Goemba
    which is a home to Buddhist nuns. The temple and numerous meditation huts dot a rocky cliff and is a serene,
    peaceful place. Drive back to Paro. In the evening, explore the Paro town shopping for souvenirs. Overnight Stay at
    Hotel.

Day 1) Srinagar/ Srinagar Mughal Gardens
Arrive Srinagar assisted transfer to Hotel Vilasta by Heritage, After lunch, join a sightseeing
trip to Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother
in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his
wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the
Zabarwan Mountains in the background. , Shankaracharya Temple, overnight at Hotel.

Day 2) Srinagar /Gulmarg/Srinagar
Post breakfast transfer to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The
distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in
the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of
Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The View enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is
fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about
3 to 4 Hrs ,Afternoon enjoy Gondola ride on Asias longest run cable car project upto 13500
fts by evening return back to Srinagar overnight at Hotel.

Day 3) Srinagar/Sonamarg/Srinagar
Today post breakfast, drive to Sonamarg The distance of about 90 kms will be covered
about 3 hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by
mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of
Himalayan Lake. The everlasting Thajiwas glacier, 3 Km from Sonamarg, provides a chance
to enjoy sledge ride on Snow even in mid – summer, Ponies(optional ride) are available up
to the glacier from Sonmarg by evening return back to Srinagar overnight at Hotel.

Day 4 ) Srinagar/Pahalgam
After leisurely breakfast drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds). Drive through Saffron
fields, visit Bat Manufacturing factory and then stop at Apple Valley, Drive through the pine
forest along Lidder River, The total distance of about 100 kms will be covered in about 2/3
Hrs, arrive and transfer to Hotel Highlands or Similar,Afternoon enjoy local Sightseeing of
Pahalgam including Betaab Valley and Aru Valley by local Jeep overnight at Hotel.

Day 5) Pahalgam /Srinagar
After leisurely breakfast transfer to Srinagar and check in at Crown of India Houseboat,
Afternoon enjoy Visit to Shah Hamdan and Hazratbal Mosque or optional free time in city
center for some last minute shopping,,,Evening enjoy Shikara ride on one hour on Dal lake
overnight at Houseboat

Day 2 : SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE (56Kms)                                                                                                                                Day trip to Cherrapunjee enroute visit Shillong Peak nd then proceed to Elephant Falls before finally leaving for Cherrapunjee-the wettest place on earth where we will be exploring the Mausmai Caves, the Naukalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Ram Krishna Mission. Return to Shillong and overnight.

Day 3 :SHILLONG-KAZIRANGA (320KMS/7 Hrs)                                                                                                                          Drive to Kaziranga National Park, the abode of one horned rhinoceros enroute visit Don Bosco Museum which is one of the most Hitech museums in India. Reaching there we check in hotel. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 4: KAZIRANGA

We shall start early in the morning for an elephant safari for 01 hour inside the park which is a world heritage site. After elephant safari, breakfast at lodge. Then we go for a jeep safari in the western range of the park. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 5:KAZIRANGA-BOMDILA (240 Kms/6-7 Hrs)

Morning drive to Bomdila. Enroute visit Tipi Orchidarium, a glass house with over 1000 Orchids. Overnight in Bomdila.

Day 6: BOMDILA-TAWANG ( 180 Kms/7-8 Hrs)                                                                                                                          Drive passing through typical Monpa village at Dirang. After viewing the beautiful valley of Dirang overlooking the river and inhabited by colourful tribals, proceed towards the Sela Pass (13703 ft) spend some lovely times by the paradise lake Overnight in Tawang.

Day 7: TAWANG                                                                                                                                                                       Full day explore Tawang Monastery, founded by Mera Lama Lodre Gyaltso during 17th century A.D. a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama .Drive upto PT Shu Lake then return to visit Tawang War Memorial .Overnight at Tawang.

Day 8:TAWANG-BOMDILA (180 Kms/7-8 Hrs)                                                                                                                              Early morning, drive to Jang to get a breath taking view of waterfalls. Pay homage at the Jashwant Garh Indo Chinese War Memorial and down hill drive to Bomdila. Overnight in Bomdila .

Day 9 : BOMDILA-TEZPUR (170 Kms/7-8 Hrs)                                                                                                                              Drive back to Tezpur enroute visiting Nag Mandir . Overnight in Tezpurl.


Day10 : TEZPUR-GUWAHATI (170 Kms/3 Hrs)                                                                                                                          Leave for Guwahati after breakfast. Afternoon we will make a visit to the famed Kamakhya Temple and enjoy the boat ride in Brahmaputra River for visiting Umananda Temple situated in a small river island in Brahmaputra. Another jewel of the Himalayas which is untouched by trekkers around the world
is the Brahmatal trek, which is devoted to Lord Brahma. It is beautifully positioned
amidst the Himalayas and covered with blankets of snow. The trail allows you to
see the centuries-old forest of Oak and Rhododendron. Walking in meadows
besides Brahmatal Ridge you can see many sites of Roopkund Trek. A glance at the
Garhwal Mountains in the distance on a clear day will totally melt your heart.

itinerary

  • Day 1 – (Pick-up Day) Rishikesh to Lohajung
    Upon your arrival in Rishikesh early morning, you will
    be picked from the ISBT Rishikesh. You will be
    travelling for 9 to 10 hours to reach Lohajung which
    is 260 KM away from Rishikesh. By late afternoon,
    you will reach Lohajung where you will be staying at
    night in a guest house / Homestay.
  • Day 2 – Lohajung to Bekaltal
    Today’s trek will start after breakfast. Commence
    the Trek to Bekaltal. En route, let your eyes enjoy
    some awe-inspiring views of Nandaghunti Peak.
    Trek through the forests of oaks and firs. Conclude
    the 4-5 hours long trek after you reach Bekaltal. The
    total distance you cover would be 6-7 KMs.Stay
    overnight in tents.
  • Day 3 – Bekaltal to Brahmatal
    Enjoy the snow-covered pathways that let you
    reach Brahmatal. It will take around 4 hours to
    complete the trek. The trails go through a forest
    and when you reach Telandi top, behold the
    enchanting views of the mighty Himalayas.
    Continue walking to finally arrive in Brahmatal
    or Khabekhal Lake. Stay overnight in tents.
  • Day 4 – Brahmatal to Brahmatal Top & back to Lohajung
    Right after breakfast, get ready to climb to the
    top of Brahmatal. Tread along the tricky
    pathways which go through Chota Jhandidar
    and Bada Jhandidar. This trail is encircled by a
    mountain ridge with valleys on both sides. It will
    take 3 hours to reach Brahmatal Top. On this
    journey, revel in the glimpses of magnificent
    Himalayan Ranges. Mt. Trishul is very close along
    with the views of Nandhaghunti. From the top,
    you can revel in the exotic views of snow covered
    Himalayan Ranges. After summit session you will
    trail back to Lohajung directly via jhandidhar &
    Daldum. Once you reach here, check-in to your
    guest house and take a rest.
  • Day 5 – (Drop Day) Lohajung to Rishikesh
    Conclude the trek and depart to Rishikesh early
    morning at 5:30 am. After your arrival at Rishikesh,
    the Brahmatal trek package comes to an end. But,
    you can plan how to spend the day fruitfully on your
    own, be it sightseeing or shopping, Rishikesh will not
    disappoint you.

  • Day 2 – Sankri to Juda Ka Talab
    After breakfast, you will set out on the hike from
    Saur Village and start climbing up. Along the way,
    we will cross several high-altitude suspension
    bridges and small villages. Reach the lake called Juda
    Ka Talab, where Lord Shiva had opened a small
    lock of his hair and water dripped from hishair
    forming this huge lake. Step out of your camps and
    witness the starlit sky bedside the frozen lake.

  • Day 3 – Juda Ka Talab to Base Camp
    Enjoy breakfast at Juda Ka Talab, and head towards
    Kedarkantha base. Immerse yourself in the beauty of
    snow-lined path and patches of green that
    surrounds your way. In case the weather is harsh,
    comfort yourself at the safe and equipped Gujjar
    huts. The imposing view of the snow-capped
    Himalayan peaks of Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini,
    Kala Nag and Ranglana will knock the breath straight
    out of you. Upon reaching the campsite, mark the
    end of the day with a wonderful dinner and retire to
    the tents for the night. Overnight Tent stay at the

  • Day 4 – Base Camp to Kedarkantha Summit&
    Back to Kotgaon (Sankri)
    The final day of the trek is destined to conquer the
    Kedarkantha Peak. The day starts early with a healthy
    filing breakfast enjoying the sunrise from the
    Kedarkantha meadows which is a simply amazing,
    pure and divine. Moving along the Oak Forest one can
    find Kedarkantha peak much closer. Towards the end
    the trek becomes bit difficult but however the view
    from the top and the amazing location is worth the
    effort. At the top of the peak there is a beautiful, yet
    small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and goddess
    Parvati. There is a small shrine of Lord Ganesh too.
    One can enjoy the sheer beauty for some time and
    then head back to the base camp by noon. Once
    relaxed, set out for descending furthermore. On
    reaching the Sankri set the tent and mark the end of
    another delightful day with dinner and overnight
    sleep at the eco-tent.
  • Day 5 – Kotgaon (Sankri) to Dehradun
    Enjoy the delicious breakfast and get ready for
    Dehradun. You will reach Dehradun approximate
    by 6 – 7 p.m. You can book your further journey
    after that. For all those who wish to stay in
    Dehradun and enjoy the place for a day or more
    can book a hotel in the city and spend some more
    lovely days in midst the beautiful Himalayas

itinerary

  • DAY 1: BAGDOGRA/SILLIGURI TO GANGTOK
    Pickup from Silliguri on Day 1 from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB). After 4 hours of drive through the foothills of the Himalayas reach Gangtok the capital of Sikkim and drop to the respective hotels (stay would be arranged by us).
  • DAY2: TSOMGO LAKE-NATHULA PASS AND BABA HARBHAJAN MANDIR-GANGTOK
    Today we start our ride around 8:30am. We will ride to Tsomgo Lake (12,409 feet). It is also the home to Brahminy duck and several other migratory birds and ride to Nathula Pass (14000 feet ) and -Baba Harbajan Mandir(13,200 feet) .After a short recess ride back to Gangtok Stay in Gangtok.
  • DAY3: GANGTOK-LACHEN
    Today we will ride from Gangtok toward Chungthang -Lachen. It is located at an elevation of 2750 meters. The name Lachen means”big pass”. The town forms the base to the Chopta Vallet and the worlds highest lake – Gurudongmar Lake. An annual yak race, the Thangu is held here in summer. A hamlet with very few people- it is almost like this town is hidden from outside
  • DAY 4 LACHEN – GURUDONGMAR LAKE LACHUNG
    Today we start around 5:30 am ride towards Gurudongmar lake which is one of the highest lake in the world standing at 17,800 feet. Generally covered with snow from December to April or even more is known as the holy scared Lake via Chopta Valley and head towards Lachung. Evening free to visit small town of Lachung- overnight stay in Lachung.
  • DAY4: LACHUNG YUMTHANG ZERO POINT
    Today after breakfast, we ride to explore Sikkim’s Valley of Flowers- Yumthang located at an elevation of 11,800 ft. You may ride towards the famous hot spring that is popular owing to its curative properties for skin diseases or head towards the Zero Point set at an elevation of 15,300ft. it is the last outpost of civilization. The international border of China lies a few meters ahead and hence civilians are restricted to go further. After the mesmerizing view back to hotel and stay in Lachung.
  • DAY6 : LACHUNG – PELLING VIA DIKCHU
    After breakfast ride to the western part of sikkim Pelling via dikchu -Temi tea estate – Ravangla and halt in Pelling. (During our ride we would visit Temi tea Estate the only tea estate of Sikkim which is totally organic and visit Buddha Park in Ravangla.
  • DAY7 : PELLING
    Enjoy a delicious breakfast, and the ride to explore the enchanting world of Pelling. Starting with Sky Walk the first Glass Skywalk in India. Along with the fourth tallest statue of Chenrezig. Khecheopalri Lake aslo known as the wish fulling lake it is one of the holy Buddhist Lakeand Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse ruins, the senic view from the top of the ruin to the mystic heights of Kanchendzonga ranges is something to be cherished on the way ride to Kanchendzonga water falls. Back to hotel stay in Pelling.
  • DAY 8: PELLING TO GANGTOK
    Today we gotta ride to Gangtok (135 km). Overnight stay in Gangtok. Evening free to roam around M.G Marg.
  • DAY 9: AIRPORT DROP
    Today after Breakfast we drop you at bagdogra airport. With lots of memory and photo and time to say good by Sikkim.
