ABOUT

Kedarkantha is such a popular winter trek that it would be apt to
entitle it as the Queen of Winter Treks. Knee-deep snow in
winters, mesmerizing view from the top, and the beautiful and
easy trails make it popular among trekkers. The ‘easy on
endurance’ trailgoes through the thick pine forests of Govind
National Park. The views from the top areworth climbing to an
altitude of 12,500 ft.
Kedarkantha trek will give you an inimitable view of the cosmic
sky, lush meadows, snow paths, charming villages, scented pine
forest, sky-knocking peaks, tranquil rivers, and some
mythological story whispers

itinerary

Day 1 – Dehradun to Kotgaon (Sankri)
Arrive at Dehradun and start your journey towards Sankri
village, Drive along Yamuna and Tons river, with pine
forests surrounding your way and enjoythe beauty of
nature at its best. After the breezy ridereach Sankri and
check-in to the comfortable campsite. Enjoy a lipsmacking dinner at the campsite. Overnight stay at
Sankri.
Day 2 – Sankri to Juda Ka Talab
After breakfast, you will set out on the hike from
Saur Village and start climbing up. Along the way,
we will cross several high-altitude suspension
bridges and small villages. Reach the lake called Juda
Ka Talab, where Lord Shiva had opened a small
lock of his hair and water dripped from hishair
forming this huge lake. Step out of your camps and
witness the starlit sky bedside the frozen lake.
Overnight Tent stay at Juda Ka Talab.
Day 3 – Juda Ka Talab to Base Camp
Enjoy breakfast at Juda Ka Talab, and head towards
Kedarkantha base. Immerse yourself in the beauty of
snow-lined path and patches of green that
surrounds your way. In case the weather is harsh,
comfort yourself at the safe and equipped Gujjar
huts. The imposing view of the snow-capped
Himalayan peaks of Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini,
Kala Nag and Ranglana will knock the breath straight
out of you. Upon reaching the campsite, mark the
end of the day with a wonderful dinner and retire to
the tents for the night. Overnight Tent stay at the
Kedarkantha base
Day 4 – Base Camp to Kedarkantha Summit&
Back to Kotgaon (Sankri)
The final day of the trek is destined to conquer the
Kedarkantha Peak. The day starts early with a healthy
filing breakfast enjoying the sunrise from the
Kedarkantha meadows which is a simply amazing,
pure and divine. Moving along the Oak Forest one can
find Kedarkantha peak much closer. Towards the end
the trek becomes bit difficult but however the view
from the top and the amazing location is worth the
effort. At the top of the peak there is a beautiful, yet
small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and goddess
Parvati. There is a small shrine of Lord Ganesh too.
One can enjoy the sheer beauty for some time and
then head back to the base camp by noon. Once
relaxed, set out for descending furthermore. On
reaching the Sankri set the tent and mark the end of
another delightful day with dinner and overnight
sleep at the eco-tent.
Day 5 – Kotgaon (Sankri) to Dehradun
Enjoy the delicious breakfast and get ready for
Dehradun. You will reach Dehradun approximate
by 6 – 7 p.m. You can book your further journey
after that. For all those who wish to stay in
Dehradun and enjoy the place for a day or more
can book a hotel in the city and spend some more
lovely days in midst the beautiful Himalayas

All bookings & confirmations are subject to availability of accommodation in specified hotels or similar.

Guests, who are unable to visit our offices for booking, can deposit amount in the bank account or can make payment online through net banking.
Also, after making the transfer, intimate the same to us by sending scanned copy/screenshot of bank slip and personal details i.e., Aadhar card, Driving License or Election Commission ID Card.

cancellation policy

Registration amount is nonrefundable under any circumstances which is 25%
In case of cancellation for group from organizer side due to any unavoidable circumstances (pandemic and any kind of external force) or rules force by the government or travel restriction by the government, we will try to transfer the booking in other departure (if client denies to opt for transfer of booking to other group then there will be no refund).
In case of cancellation from client side after the registration at any point of time, then in that case there will be no refund.
If you want to change your tour date, you have to inform us 45 days prior to the departure date.
If you want to cancel your trip, you have to inform us at least 45 days prior to the departure date, amount refunded would be after deducting the registration amount (25%). If you inform us 30 days prior to the departure date, 25% amount will be refunded and under 20 days 0% amount would be refunded.
If in case you are 2 passengers and have opted for 1 bike 2 rider option, and your pillion rider cancels the trip due to any reason then you have to take the solo rider package.
If in case you inform us to change the travel dates 45 days prior to the ride date, then your booking will be shifted to your desired batch depending upon the availability & if you inform us under 30 days of the departure date your booking shall be liable to cancellation and no amount would be refunded.
